Red face driving a slammed TT...

ever since i've carpool'd with a friend to work, id pretty much just drive the TT on weekends.

and now i decided for it to be my week.

i've been hearing alot of THUDS and loud banging comin from underneath when going over speedbumps (fully angled and still hearing the noise) and some other crap on some shitty roads.

now just to give me a glimmer of hope, PLEASE tell me it's scraping on my underpanel... and dont tell me its been my oil pan =(

make me feel good?

Heh, turns out, im dripping a bit more oil than i first thought. Have a new 4" spot on the ground when i leave the apartment in the morning.

If I still had access to fluorescent penetrant dye, i'd just find where it's leaking, and reweld it. Probably just buy a new pan and install that while the car is on blocks for suspension raising.

As I remember, you're running the red racing springs, right? If this problem is something new, do you think that the springs have "sagged" over time? I only ask because I am running the reds with no problem, and hope this is not something I need to look forward to.
