Default Dual outlet exhaust for '02 180 FWD??

I'm looking for an exhaust for mine... its the 180 FWD, '02... Can't seem to find anything but the Quattro models. Is there a dual outlet exhaust for the FWD? How much modification would need to be done to the one for the Q, and has anyone done it on here?

its my understanding you have to do major modification to the spare tire wheel well on a FWD to have dual outlet. the only way to achieve the dual look is with the fake tip.

I have seen a dual outlet that has like a hoakie looking pipe coming from the stock exhaust location around the back axle to the other side... kinds looks dumb but it is a dual tip working exhaust. I have seen it out there... just dont remember where. It was pricey though. I think around 1k

borla and remus have dual tip 180 exhaust. There maybe more but those to are the ones im certain of. Then you just need a new rear valance from a 225 or 3.2. all can be had from ttstuff.com.

thanks for the replies; Cincy, my only issue with that system is that it fits the Q only -- I'd rather not hack up the wheel well, but I'm going to see what kind of fabrication can be done, as well. I wonder how this thing would sound with straight pipes after the resonator pipe?

In any event, the setup has to be nice. I'm writing my car off soon as a company expense, and I have to make it perfect because I'm going to do some work to it and use it as a show car to demonstrate a car product I have coming out to market soon...

Does anyone have any pictures of the underbody of the 2002 180 FWD (non quattro!) handy? I'd like to see it in pix before I lift it.

does not having the rear wheel drive in the car make that much of a differance on the room at the back end of the car? you would think there would be more room without all that extra stuff.

You would think so. I just got done pulling my head out from under there and... yikes, there is no room at the back for a muffler like I pictured up there!

I'm going to see what it would take to route a pipe from further up in the exhaust system, as I forget if it looked like I could do that or not. I'll keep you apprised...

What about a custom setup with a small muffler way under the body. then just get custom piping around around back there.
