Default Dump valve/Blowoff valve

I'm balling on a budget and wonder if i should get one of the above, if so which one is better and are there any suggestions to which make etc. Links would be even better!

I read up about what they do, the TT doesn't come with one does it? I don't want to buy one if I already have one, but my buddy was saying one would help the boost or something!

Thanks in advance

Yes, the TT has a dv and its recirculated. Its fine unless it fails. It fails with higher pressure and heat from a chip. You can run a dv, bov, or hybrid. Just go to ecstuning a you can use anything they sell. Forge007 is the most popular dv, splitter hybrid and 004 for bov. But you can also use any dv made for the 1.8t and hks ssqv for a bov also.

also, you arent going to gain much if anything if the stock is fine

I have read through the faq but unfortunately i do not understand most of it! I even did a search before i posted the thread.

Thanks for the info cincyTT, you seem to be a very helpful person on this forum and any advice on good mods a noob can do are welcomed!!

Or the APR R1 dv is nice, it's kinda quiet, to keep with the class of the Audi!

Ok guys, i just went through the FAQ again after reading all of the anacronyms and have a better idea of what the hell is going on now!

I think what i meant to say was I wanted a DV/BOV that made that loud ricer noise! Sorta like this engine "vrooooooooom" change gear, DV/BOV "tsssssssssssst", engine "vroooooom"!

My buddy in italy had one on his turbocharged fiat coupe and it sounded pretty neat, though i made fun of him cos i was a big v8 guy.

GET THE R1 and a nice cone filter(k&N) and you;'ll be good to go...also a DV relocator kit will also help
