Default DV relocation kit

I have seen more and more of these and im just wondering why people do it?? what are the advantages and/or disadvantages to having a DV relocation?? Thanks

just a couple clamps and hoses. just a little more involved than a normal dv install

Okay..
to quote cincy:
It puts the dv after the intercooler so instead of reciculation the hot air its cooler. Also putting the dv as close to the tb the better it performs: Faster DV response and Less turbo spool down on shifts and off throttle.
Guess I was wrong. The only peopel I have seen do it here have the sliptter and did it for a louder woosh sound.

anytime you put if over the pressure side it will be louder. But yes, the turbo spins faster between shifts (faster respool), less risk of surge, and cooler temps on the dv/bov.

I was doing some reseach on the DV relocation but im not sure what fittings to use. Does anyone have a DYI link which uses the stock pipes?
