Any one had any luck, good or bad, with ebay smoked side markers? For example, here. They are def better priced ~25 over ecs, and they are just perpetually out of stock at ttstuff. Thanks. For the price they arent that bad to just try, but I would hate to have a poor seal that water can get in to, though I suppose I could draw a bead of silicone before clipping it in.

Side markers? I've had a set on the car since last fall. The clips are too big on the back and its damn near impossible to get them into the car, but after a quick shave with an exacto knife,they were perfect. No issues with moisture.

 

Cool, I had some from ecs on the last tt and to shave the tabs on those so I know just what you are talking about, ecs and ttstuff just want too much for them imo

Yeah, first was an 01 black coupe with like 23k miles, but I had to sell it to make ends meet for a while, then I missed having a car, especially a tt, and found a good deal a few months later on the current one.

 

Once you go TT you never go back.
