ECU programed!
I've got a 01 TT 180 and I just had the car reprogramed today. What a difference it makes. I now hear the turbo, the D/V is louder or more noticable. The pull from about 3600 on is really good. The shop that did it used REVO software to reprogram my ECU. Prior to the re-calibration, the shop owner installed a demo program that allowed my to taste what the re-programing would feel like. Pretty cool deal.
I'd say well worth the $$ for anyone thinking about it. I love the idea of not having to pull the ecu, it was all done through the OBD port. Awesome!

I got Revo'ed as well and all I can say is " W O W "
What a difference!! It put a big smile on my face. A lot more power sooner and it eliminated any
Turbo lag that was there in the beginning. I also opted for the SPS 3 which lets me tweak boost and timing and
it also has a great little Anti Theft setting which when set doesn't let you start the car even with the key.
Very cool. I like the Boost 6 and Timing 5 Setting best so far. It's fun to try different settings.
Anyway, I recommend the REVO Tune to anyone. It made the biggest difference not only on paper but by the seat of my
pants feel. ;-)

Only if you tell the dealer
Actually the REVO programming is totally undetectable by the dealer. The SPS switches let you return the
ECU to it's factory setting when you bring it in for service. Then just switch back when you get the car back.
Couldn't be simpler[8D]

OK cool. The thing is im only 18 and i rely on my warranty for all repairs because i cant afford them. Also my parents wont pay for them if i void the warranty. So you think it's a safe thing to do or not? What are the chances of them detecting the change if i have the switch?
WOW, you are very lucky to drive such a cool car with 18. I was driving a 67 Plymouth Satelite that I paid 200 bucks for. But I guess
those were different days. Back to your question. With the SPS switch (Even the basic one) you can swtich back to the Stock programming
and the dealer will not know that your ECU has been messed with. Just don't forget to swtich back before taking it to the dealer.
If they find out that you altered the ECU programming they may have some problems honoring the warranty. Depends on the dealer. Some
are pretty cool and don't care but others are True Germans and go by 'se book ;-)
If I were you I would leave it alone for now and just enjoy the car. I think it's plenty fast the way it is.
