Engine failed and won't re-start until later. 2001 Audi TT Quatro
2001 Audi TT Quatro 148K miles
Drove Audi for 45-minutes. As I pulled into a parking space, the engine stopped. Engine cranked over but would not start.
Multiple attempts to start engine failed. 15-minutes later engine started up like nothing ever happened..
Later on that day, same thing happened.
So with the key turned off, I disconnected the negative battery cable. Waited 5-minutes before re-connecting the battery cable.
Turned key to “ON” position; waited for 2-minutes. Turned key to “Off”. Vehicle started.
Any idea what I have to have replaced to correct issue?
