European TTs were lower . . . myth or fact?

Default European TTs were lower . . . myth or fact?

I've heard European TTs sat lower over their wheels, like an American TT w/sports springs. Myth or truth? If true, how much lower were "our European friends' TTs", if you'll pardon the expression!

Probably, the law here in the states is that a stock car has to be so far off the ground. I think they use headlights to measure.

In Cali you can only go so low and in most states, there is no law. That just applies to car manufatures for added safety

I had a buddy who dropped his VeeWee so low he couldn't fit is finger underneath it. He would get a fix-it ticket, jack it up to pass...then go home and drop it again. Must have happened like 10 times before they impounded it.
I think cops have more to worry about in Cali than low cars... LA is the battleground for the gang world war and thousands of illegals jump ther boarder every month. I'm sure a scraped speed bump is pretty low on their priority list.
If you think about it...a cop can pull you over for anything...and if you're a dick about it, they'll write you a ticketr for it. Just don't look conspicouse and you could drive anything down the road you desire. The proof is in soccer moms...they drive like 80mph everywhere and never get pulled over...because they don't look suspiocious.
