Ever seen complete red rearlights?

It in fact IS a fog light. In Continental Europe, they have a red rear fog light on the left, and in the UK it is on the right. Both have yellow turn signals in rear as well. So, with the right mix of parts meant for the right country, you can have amber signals and red "reverse" lights, or amber signals and white "reverse" lights, or red turn signals and white lights (US).

If you use the US light panel in an EU or UK tail light, then the normal "backup" white light from the US light will be behind a red lens in the light (depending on the light you used) and will illuminate red. In the EU, the left side is red, in the UK, the right side is red.

but its only the glass. not the light inside! thats why in germany everyone wants to buy UK glasses. But they are so expensive. about 200 Euro at ebay.
but please tell me, are yours rearlights both complete red? or do you have a white dot?

Mine are both white, and I like them that way, and I have amber turn signals, as they are supposed to be ; ) I achieved this with a UK left side and EU right side.
