Default ...Exhaust-Check it out

So as I was browsing through ebay to try to decide if I should buy the dual real valence panel for my 180ttq I saw this..
http://neverenoughauto.com/index.php...roduct_id=2424
I've heard good things about vibrant exhausts... mainly from people who drivemazdaspeed protege's and ricer cars liek that, but never ever have I heard of one on a TT. Which leads me to my next question- HAS ANYONE EVER TRIED THIS? I'm thinking about it and for the price, it doesn't seem like I really have that much to lose. Haha what do you guys think?

no clue, never heard of them.
I'm not so sure there is much difference between the aftermarket exhausts, as long as they aren't built internally like the stock exhaust. They're all 'transverse' bodies, which means exhaust flow is making some serious direction changes. I guess it's all about sound.

I cut my muffler off a week ago. It resonates pretty bad right now, but I think that's mainly because it exits under the car. I still need to fab pipe to get it to the back of the car. I'm reusing stock tips, I like how they look.

I cut my 35 lb double walled muffler apart last night. First thing it does is 'T' (big restriction) then flows to the ends of the muffler, reverses flow back thru (restriction) a perforated tube packed with steelwool and layered with fiberglass, and exits the muffler to the tips thru an opening that's really probably only 2" (big restriction).

Give that muffler a shot if you dont think $500 isnt much for an exhaust. I haven't spent a dime on mine yet, and I guarantee it flows better than any muffler on the market. ; )

Most awd designs are like that. APR use to have a nice design but the dumped it i guess to costs. BTW, that catback is only 2.5", you can get a nicer blueflame and its 2.75" for about the same price on ebay

Yeah it seems like I would be much better off with a blue flame. In addition i also think the blueflame is the nicest soundin/best looking setup which is also 2.75. I saw this and i still would love to hear back from someone who has actually put this on a TT. haha but thanks for all your input

I wouldn't go as far to saythat the "ins and outs don't look as good as the others"-myslow1 because its pretty much the same exact design as every other dual exit exhaust for a tt (a muffler that either has two exits on one side that bends around to the other, a smaller muffler with two exitson either side,or like the stock exhaust a big muffler with two exitstowards the corners of the muffler housing)but I do think you are going to get what you pay for... and for 500 shipped i dont think it would be a bad idea for someone on this forum to try it out. haha it just sucks because you can't see the internals to see if its really a straight through design also- I dont think a 2.5" to 2.75" would really make that much of a difference considering that you can use a 2.5"pipe on setups that areup to 350 hp - which I amno where near.
