Fast Acceleration problem
Everytime I slam on the gas (as if i were racing) the car does a jerk and stops accelerating for a second and then it goes. It happens in any gear that I do this on (if i need to get my *** moving to merge on the highway in 5th or 6th) and/or if i slam on the gas when the light turns green i will launch and then the car stops accelerating for 1 second and then starts again and has no problems. It started happening after I put the diode mod and boost controller/boost gauge in about 3 months ago with tyler. Any ideas on what this could be due to? I've heard that i need to upgrade my fuel regulator as a possible fix.
I haven't gapped my plugs to .028 yet and i'm running maybe 16-19 boost max until i fix this problem. I have the 225. I also have the Forge splitter and greddy trust intake
well it happened b4 i put the splitter on. I feel like my FPR can't keep up with the demand for fuel when i slam on the gas. That makes more sense to me. I'm pretty sure SPark plug gap is not going to cause my car to be doing this. And it takes forever to change teh spark plugs... i'm going to wait until i do the whole timing belt change this summer to put in the new gapped spark plugs.
With bolt downs it takes like 10-15min for me.
Why mess up the car since you are lazy? The fuel pressure doesnt change and the first person on here that did the 225 diode showed that it was fine on stock fueling to 20psi and had room for a few more psi w/o any adjustments. If Tyler is who i think it is, i know who/whati would blame.

don't you have to remove the turbo piping and stuff? it looks like a lot of crap is blocking the spark plugs?? And tyler is Redsapphire. I'm not sure if it's hard to **** up a diode and a boost controller/boost gauge, but i suppose it's possible. Anything I should make sure I double check that he could have messed up?
You just have to remove the plasic cover on the engine and then either pull or unbolt the coilpacks.
You DO remember Red's thread about "F' the diode" where it turns out (like i said) it was him and not the diode? So he F'ed up his, why dont you think he messed up yours? And coming from experience, i would put money now that he didnt set up your boost controller correctly. What kind do you have?

i have that and my greddy intake.
I just thought the diode mod was a simple project. Do you have a link to that topic so i can find out what i can do to fix it?
