Default Final pricing question - really quick

Ok, so I found and was researching a local car. It is a 2003 Audi TT Quattro 225with 74k. Now, I got a "final offer" of $15,500 to buy it. I am just confused as to if this is a good price or not. This goes double since some people say the 60k service really isn't "all that expensive". It's silver, really good condition, but with everything I've read and heard, I am confused.

sounds good to me too. it took a while to find my '03 225 quattro, but when I did it was a similar situation. after a while I just figured I was fine buying an '03 w/38,000 for $16,700 since it was lower than bluebook pricing and it was in really nice condition. your price seems right.

If it's already had the 60k service, it's a fair price..not great, but still fair..if it hasn't had the 60k mile service, add about 700-900 on top of that, and it's not that great of a price...remember, if it hasn't had the 60k mile service, you have to have enough money after you buy it to have it done immediately!

mine is 2001 225Q with 96k for $12000.

you can request him to mark down the selling price around $5000? if dmv asks, just tell them you bought the blown engine's TT..

i paid about 17000 for my 01 TT 225 quattro coupe in perfect condition with 44000 miles. this was about 10 months ago, and i know values on mark 1 TTs are dropping a lot lately because the mark 2 is out. hope that helps....

man i saw an 03 tt 225 at carmax with 68k on it for 21,000!
I almost cursed the guy out, because he said the value of the car jumped because the 65k service was done when they got it. Because when they recieved it, the car needed it.

I still cant justify charging that much for it though.
