I FINALLY picked up my car from the dealership service center this morning. My pockets are 6 grand lighter, but I LOVE having my car back!! It feels like when I first bought it. I looked under the hood and 6 grand doesnt look like much in there, however to my suprise she runs quite a bit better. When all was said and done I basically have a new engine, and it sounds and feels like it. Smoother idle, and better response, its like having a new car. Was throwing the belt worth it? Absolutely NOT!!!!!!! But its good to have here back and in better shape.

 

timing belt? ouch.. thats a lot of money.. congrats on getting her back!!!!!

 

sweet! and just think, you have another 60K before you have to worry about the timing belt again.

 

Beleave me, Ive got that 60K marked in bright red ink on the fridge. I wont do that again.
