Finally got my TT
I've been waiting for almost two weeks to get my TT since I put the deposit on it (I hate dealing with Banks). The good news is that I absolutely love it. It almost got away from me a few times before I got used to the power. There's not really any comparison to my old Prelude Si. It was horrible weather on the way back from Ohio and the TT handled perfectly.
Here's the bad part.. not that bad, but still.. The gauge cluster lasted me about 15 minutes. I left the dealer and started heading down the Interstate and all the gauges were normal, the temp was dead centered. About 15 minutes into my trip the temp gauge popped over to hot and stayed. I panicked a few secs and pulled off and checked the engine and all looked good so I called the local Audi dealership (where my TT was a few days earlier getting its 40k) and they told me if it wasnt boiling over to drive it in. Diagnosis: bad cluster.. good news, factory warranty Of course I'm having it done at a dealer closer to my home. Temp read hot all the way home, but all was well. The dealer told me a big thermometer graphic would pop up if it was really overheating.
