Default flik arctics

Is there any other place to get flik wheels besides edge racing? They're out of stock on the arctic gunmetal ones right now.

Thanks,

Ian

Not new, not that I know of. I think they're the only importers. Its usually only a week or two and they're in stock again.

Haha, Achttung I didn't realize that's what you had :-) Do you like them? My TSWs i'm learning are not up to the task ofDallas roads. Most people on other forumssay the fliks arevery durable.

^ ya. i'd trade my flik justices for a set of silver artic's. 18x8.5 though, bc the 17" only come in 17x7. when will edgeracing learn to make 17x9's!

I love the gunmetal arctics, i wish i would have done those in the first place. I just remounted the tsw's and got them balanced much better now. Now there's hardly any vibration.I might get the arctics when I have some spare cash.

Well, they definately look good when you first get them, but I've had problems with the clearcoat flaking on the polished lip, also, they aren't super balanced, I've had to have a pretty good strip of weights before, and that was on a new rim, so no chance of road damage as the cause. Get what you pay for though, cheap rims, can't expect a $118 rim to perform like a $1018 rim. I'd still say go for it if thats the price range you want, they definately look good. They were my feeler into upsized rims, I wasn't sure how they'd handle the rough roads in my area, and didn't want to risk screwing up a GOOD set of rims.

one thing i HATE about the gunmetal/black arctics is the horrendously ugly polished center cap area. only if they were colored like the wasps...

wasps face + artics wider lip + fliks cheap price = a winning combination

True, and I forgot also, that 2 of my centercaps don't sit flush to the face of the rim, they're pushed about 2mm further in. You wouldn't notice, but I do, and I'M what counts. ; )

i like the polished center actually. I think it gives the wheels something unique without being tacky. one think I hate about pretty much half the wheels out there is those stupid shiny brads all around the wheel like on the wasps. I swear 50% of the wheels out there have those on them.
