Default Forge 007 noise?

So, I got the car chipped last week, and just installed the Forge...
Stupid easy install, btw!

My question is, I don't hear hardly any difference between the stock DV and the Forge. Should I hear more of that ricer phhhhht noise, or no? I know it's not gonna be super loud, since it's not a BOV, but still, should there be any difference between stock and aftermarket?
Thanks for your help everyone!

You will hear a significant difference with a CAI. With stock airbox the DV will sound pretty stock.

yea with a intake you'll hear it more not really loud tho but from what i hear the splitterby forge is the way to go. that is what i'm going for. i guess i'm hopen they are gonna have them at waterfest.

With an open element filter my forge 007 was hella loud.

what would make the splitter better? it vents back in and out... The other reason it would be considered "better" is because it makes more noise. I would prefer the 007 because with that and a some type of aftermarket intake or just a filter on the MAF is plenty loud imo. The only reason i would even upgrade is so the OEM one doesnt vent underfull boost of a chipped car.

just my .02

myslow1i ment it'll be louder not better performance. i want mine to be louder too so it's either the 004 or the splitter i'm still not sure. and i reall don't know that is why i said "but from what i hear the splitterby forge is the way to go".
