Found this used TT.... is it worth it?
Hey guys,
I thought I would get some expert opinions… I’m in the market for a used TT with a budget of around 16K. I stumbled upon this, as it has a lot things done to it, looks sharp, and seems to be in decent shape.

I contacted the seller and asked some important questions about the maintenance and mods, and the reply was:
19" HRE
540's3.2 rear valance
APR chipBoost
MachineForge DV-RDieselgeek
Ultra 6 short shifterRemus
ExhaustRiso
smoked cornersVent
boost gaugeEscort
Passport 8500 w/ Zr3 Laser jammerIpod integration
Rear seat delete
I think that's all, It's hard to remember all that stuff! But I put a lot of money into the car.I've always been on time for maintenance. It got all new belts, water pump,and tensioner with the timing belt change at 75k it just got a new front windshield, I have a bunch of filters and some new suspension components I will give away with the car. I change the spark plugs on every other oil change. The two back tires are less then 6 months old, and it will need two new front tires soon.Not long after I bought the TT my girlfriend moved to Santa Barbra for a job opportunity and I accrued the most of the miles on the 101 going back and forth.
I am wary because of two things, the mileage is quite height, but at how little he is asking I think I could rebuild the engine for around 4K if it really needed it. Also the H20 pumps and belts where changed at 75k miles, which means he probably hasn’t changed them recently and I would have to do it (if I recall its every 60K miles and since it has over 120K right now it needs them changed ASAP). Should I worry about anything else? If I haggle him down 1500 for the new H20 pumps and belt should I consider such a high mileage car, or should I just save my money for a lower mileage car with less mods?
Thanks in advance, I really appreciate your help K.

It is a badgeless grill.
I wouldnt do it unless you REALLY like those wheels since they are rather expensive. i would find something in the 70k range for that price.

NVM ignore my post i thought it was listed for 16, u have 16 to spend, yeah buy it 12,300 its pretty good despite the high miles, then sell the rims and get some cheaper ones, and use that money for more modification.
If you don't buy it let me know.
I wonder if they'll sell just the Remus cat-back... [8D]
Like previously stated it will need the second timing belt soon.
I'd ask about that crack above the grill.
Not to mention the car has already been modified to the previous owner's taste not your own.
Kinda like handing an artist a semi-finished painting, and asking them to finish the job.
Personally I'd prefer a blank canvas. Just my $0.02 though.

I didn't even notice the cracked bumper... guess I should have looked better. I'd say I am leaning against itnow for sure. I guess even with what I could do to flip the car it would be better to start with something fresh-
Belt + Pumps = 1500
Bumper = ~1000
Rebuild = 4000
That’s over 6K, so a total price of 18k for a 120,000 mile car. He also recently changed the front windshield... so the cracked bumper probably means he hit something and the title isn’t' clean.
Yeh, no thanks, you can go get the wheels from him if you want. Thanks guys, you are always a help.
