Yeah! Gandy Bridge!! I spent quite a lot of time there with my, I'm ashamed to say, '99 civic. That's right, I was a ricer! It's all good though.

Jeff, I have a haldex filter wrench if you need to use it, if its something you're going to put off until spring, and you feel like making a drive, you can pull your car overmy pit.

someone parked a damn pontoon boat over my pit for winter.... : (

Oh, and yeah, I'm driving the TT thru the winter, I'm trying to put away a little extra money to get my 5000 on the road, but I've been having a hard time with work, so there hasn't been much time for side jobs for the 5000 fund.

There are a couple of other Canadians on here, check the post about bringing a 2000 TT into Canada.

Welcome...

White TT, ay? How do you find it in the snow that covers your part of the world?
Yeah, I figured there were more of them on here, I just hadn't seen anyone post on this thread from here...

Well, I have steel wheels with Bridgestone Blizzaks on the car right now, so between that and the all-wheel drive, it's been bloody great in the snow.

Now the fact that it is a lovely two-tone of brown and white at the moment on account of the melting snow is another story... Ugh. I really have to clean it soon; it hurts my feelings looking at that poor car.

I know what you mean... NY uses straight salt on the state roads, and salt/sand on the county roads. My black steel rims look whitewashed most of the time from all of the salt spray. Its been damn cold, but I've been washing the car pretty regularly anyway. Its hard when you wash one side, and then go to the other side to finish and find 1/4" of ice has built up in the previous 2 minutes.

John here, Melbourne Australia. The TT in the household is my wife's and she could well have been described earlier in this thread

I can tell you if another TT driver flashes their lights or gives a wave she is "tickled pink" and responds appropriately.

I wish I could give back as much to this forum as it provides to me in the form of information and friendly advice.

Frank
Sarasota, FL (close to Denim TT)

We'll have to hook up sometime man! Once I wash the dirt and salt off my poor car (I'm in IL right now with my girlfriend).

The weather sucks compared to Tampa... and I'm stuck here until I get a new coilpack ... GRR.

I'm Tory. I have a chick's name.. but I'm a dude.. guys, you probably don't want my number.
I'm from Northridge/Van Nuys, Ca. I was just wondering if there is anybody local to me, in LA county? It'd be cool to see what others have done to their TT's.
I'm only 19, so if anybody wants to buy the beer, I'd be glad to have one with ya!

I was just thinking how knowledgeable all of you are, and how it can get a little tense sometimes.
Even when things get rocky, I think in the end we all share the same enthusiasm for cars!
So anyway.... Let's keep the friendliness and... BUMP
