Default Front Clearance Light Out

Anyone,

My 2002 TT Roadster has just past the warrantee time period so I now have to fend for myself.

My front clearance light just went out but my turn signal is still working. Can anyone tell me the easiest way to replace my bulb with out having to go to a dealer. I am 60 miles away from the nearest dealer.

Thanks,
2002QuattroRoadster

The front Bumper Cover and HEadlight assembly have to come off to change the bulbs.

Not true.. it takes some dexterity and working blind by feel, but I've changed out all of the bulbs without pulling the bumper cover.

thats right, but you risk breaking something (such as electrical connectors) working that way.

Its not that hard to remove the components it just takes a bit of time.

You don't have to remove the bumper to replace that bulb, if you have small hands.
There's much more room if you do though. However it's just a cover that you turn a little to the right I believe.
Cover comes off, bulb comes out, bing bang boom you're done!

If you are going to remove the bumper, then yes removing the front wheel makes the job that much easier.
You have to take the wheel liner out to get to a few bolts on each side. I don't think a wheel in your back would feel all that good.

The one for about $20
I'm pretty sure it's cheaper at the dealer, some have even said around $4 at your local benz dealer.
