My car sometimes starts real sluggish, and when I go to back out of my parking spot, requires more gas than it used to to keep it from stalling. Possible fuel pump? I've also been having a persistant lean code and hesitant acceleration...

I've got 76k miles, but we replaced the fuel filter about a month ago (along w/ maf, o2's, and spark plugs) and that didn't help.

I guess if your fuel pump is on it's way out and there isn't enough pressure there's a possibility you can run lean. Which after some time could damage the cats. But me thinks the car wouldn't start before the cats died.

My problem is sometimes it won't start - i turn the key and get nothing (as though I have no power.....), but my battery has been tested and is fine, and when it does start it acts like its not getting enough fuel.

The only code i get consistenly is P1128 - lean code. The plugs were sooty black when i pulled them.
