It really is getting crazy...I mean, its suppsed to be $6.00/gallon by September...WTF???

People are already striking in India over their gas prices...the US, China, India and N. Korea (I think) are meeting sometime in September to discuss how to lower the price of gas.

But, its actually the US dollar thats killing our economy right now...every time oil goes up, stocks fall...also due to the fact that gas is expensive, its gonna cost me an arm and a leg just to fly back to Maryland on vacation at the end of September, and Im trying to buy tickets now!!! Crazy....

Just went to Belgium last month, 1.5 EURO/L => ~6 EURO/Gallon => ~9.44$/GALLON!
And I drove a freaking V6 FJ Cruiser! 90 Euro fillup! (60ish Liter tank)

We could start a forum on how to mod our bikes.

Not sure how much it rose over the weekend, but as of Friday it was $4.05ish for 93 here in southwest VA. First tank that cost me over $50 was last week when I filled up after being pretty low. Oh wellz,gotta pay to play. Luckily our cars get fairly decent mileage, and I think I get better mileage when I go on "cruises" with our local car club then just driving around town.

Using my motorcycle to commute back and forth to work, sold our Saab 9-5 and got a Subie Impreza, TT stays in the garage except on the weekend.

I could change my driving habits... but my FWD gets 30.3-30.7 mpg CONSTANTLY with not taking it very easy on the car. I mean, I dont fully get on it a lot but I dont take it easy... I stay in the medium

I have attempted to try and see, by changing habits, how much better mileage I could get.. but Its just so damn hard to stay of the throttle when you hear that turbo start to spool!

I bought the TT in order to park my Mountaineer, so I still feel as though I am saving.....just a perception thing. Guess I could start riding my vintage motorized bicycle....it is a 1949 Whizzer kit nounted to a 26inch baloon tire style Schwinn bike. It gets 125 MPG....way back then!
