gauge speedo help. KMH to MPH
hey guys, this is my first post here, hopefully I can get some help.
I have a 2004 A4 Avant 1.8T and a 2004 TT 3.2. They are both in KMH and I need to have them in MPH in order to be registered here (canadian cars).
I am wondering if I can just buy a new dial or gauge face or whatever, like this or if I have to spend a lot of money and get a new speedometer or something.
PLEASE HELP, I need to fix this problem ASAP.
Thanks so much.

so the only way to do this is to replace the whole gauge assembly and not just the faces?
also, what about the miles? do they match up with the car or with the odometer in the gauge assembly?
thanks.

the gauge face comes out fairly easy, but I never figured out how to get the needles back on where they need to be.
Heres my teardown thread from AW.
IM NOT PROMISING ANYTHING. This shows the steps, but if you screw up, or even if you don't, and it doesn't read right, or something, its all on you. Just a heads up, these things are about $600 from the dealer. Thats my disclaimer.
