Default getting the best sound

so i want to bring out the sound of my 1.8t..but i'm not sure which combo to choose among dv/bov and cold air intakes.
i already have a bmc box filter in it, but i'm wanting to get a whole new air intake....now should i go with the bmc cai or and injen...?
for bovs i've been looking at the forge 007 and the turboxs type h? any comments on which setup would work best is appreciated.
hey and does aem make a intake kit for the tt?

You are aware that BOV's can be bad for our engines right?

so i talked with a guy today, and he said doing a recirc kit on a blowoff valve would do the same thing as a dv. does a dv make any noise? i've come to accept the fact that its the way i'm goign to go with it, so i dont loose the driveablitly of the car.
went ahead and bought the injen intake..black powdercoat suited my taste.
now i'm looking into an intercooler system...again i'm lost here as well. any help?

Hey Ronin,
How do you like your injen intake so far? I am considering to purchase one as well. Also did you install it or have someone installed it for you?

Thank you,
Sarper

blowoff recirculated, or DV, either way, you'll have some muffled sound over what you probably expect from venting a blowoff to atmostphere. Best way to get the sound back is a open element filter. You'll be able to hear the sound come back out of the intake. I'd still take the modshack TTDA over hearing a DV though.

well i would like it, provided the bastards had remembered to include the silicone intake hose in the box...so now i have to wait....but putting it in is going to be hard, the front bumper has to come off as well as the headlight.
the dv is great, but my check engine light is on now? any ideas?
also, big problem with my gas gauge, it seems to be stuck, and when i get to around 3/4 of a tank, the gas light comes on. usually around 145miles left on the tank...this pisses me off...heard of this problem before anyone?

hahahaha yeah, my gas gauge is doing the same thing, my dealership is going to replace the entire gauge cluster under warrenty for me. take it to your dealer if you still have a warrenty, otherwise enjoy keeping an eye on the miles till empty function
