Default Getting sick of this car...

So I keep encountering problems with my TT. The local shops arent able to help, the dealers are stumped. I'm already car shopping to ditch this damn car. But before I do that - Maybe some one can answer this or has had this problem.

I start my car everyday before work and let it warm up for ~10 minutes to make sure it's ready to go and primed. I go outside today, put the key in, wait for the 5 beeps and the OK to come up, turn the key and BOOM. Everything reset, all lights off, Nothing Works. Stay calm I open the hood and check wires for condensation/cracks or unplugged. Batteries brand new, alternators fine, wires are tight. Battery has power and thats it. Check the fuses, not a one is blown.
At this point im getting upset. Pressed the lock button on the fob and to my surprise That worked?? So I unlocked it, sat down, turned it over and it fires up. Now the dash lights..well..Every interior light flickers mildly. I guess this weekend I will check the ECU box to see if theirs water in there? If there isnt what the hell could it have been? The motor sounds perfect not missing a beat, it drives fine and what not.

The last thing I need is to be driveing and the car to just quit and freeze up on me. Some suggestions are to have the ECU Checked out some how, and the Cluster checked due to the immobilizer unit as well as something in the dash.

Has this happened to any one? I hope it was just a fluke, which im sure it wasnt since everything took a dump, and that it doesnt break my wallet. It's safe to say the whole custom exhaust is on hold until I figure out if this cars even worth putting More money into.

I would have them run a full diagnostic on the immobilizer because it sounds like the problem is there and the key fob working when it didn't before could be the signal to tell you where the problem is

How long have you been flashed by GIAC? Which program do you have?

Yeah, I only asked because I know GIAC has a kill program.
Well that, and the fact that my GIAC flash has been giving me a headache. Different problem, but same car and tuning company.

Just called an audi dealer in rochester and they said to bring the car up after the new year and make a list of whats wrong/to be looked at and theyll scan it, check it, clean it, repair it whichever. They said the total reset could be due to moisture/water in the ECU case or something simple like my (broken) key fob. It's been through a rough life it looks like and is glued together (classy) and he said who knows it could have triggerd it/not read properly upon ignition. Was looking to get a Ford Edge too...after I heard how much they would give me for my TT definitley laughed and walked away.

Just buy a used ecu for about $100-150 and install it. It has to be in there.
