Default Give me some exhaust options !!!!

About 6months ago I had taken off my resonator on the exhaust and it sounded great at first but now I need more !! I like the sound but it doesn't kick in until around 3k rpm. I don't want to spend a lot, nor do I want a full turbo back. I just wanted to get options foe brands and I had seen some used kits around but is there anything to look at when buying used? I'm sure it can't be done, but would 300-400 for an exhaust be too low ?
Anothre option was that the shop who did the resonator delete told me they could put a Borla or Dynomax new muffler and reuse the tips? Anyone ever do this, if so how did they do it and what's price looking like?

Smile Remus

I had Remus single exhaust on my TT1.8C last month.
Also installed downpipe which I bought on ebay. 540 euro for both + installation.
Remus is not as loud as I expected, but significant power increase.
I am not disappointed with the sound, it doesn't produce the cheap noisy sound, it creates more bass sound. Airflow is so smooth, I am stepping on brake pedal more frequently now for sure. Now I need to think about upgrading brake or changing tires soon.
It feels now there is no engine-brake. Once you let go of accelaration pedal, the car wants to keep going forward.

I have the 42 catless DP with stock exhaust. I love the sound! Sounds kinda like a G35 when I let off the throttle. I figured I would just do the DP untill I really decide on what exhaust I go with. I don't want my car to be Too loud. I'm a little too old for that ****

cincy, can you pm me a price for a 225 catback(minus the cat)from FPP please.
