I have a 2001 Audi Quatro TT . The glove box lever just popped off in my hand along with a spring. I see, from forums, that I have to take off the glove box to get to the back to get to the broken plastic activator, (?). I have found no comprehendable instructions to do this. This appears to be a common problem with Audi cars. Has someone out there done this?
Thank you for your reply and your help. We removed the box without breaking it, a miracle. Can't figure out how to get to the mechanism that is broken behind this polished aluminum piece. No broken pieces of plastic have fallen out so far.
