Default GLOVE Compartment

Ok so whenever i hit a small bump in the road, my glove compartment opens up. Does anybody else have this problem. Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks

happens to me time to time. ITs just beacuse its not closed right. Don't pack so much stuff in there as its not that big. And when you shut it, use some man power..

Actually, you don't want to use much "man power". The latch pin on the glovebox is the weak link and if you break it the only option is to buy a new glovebox to the tune of $700.

Was I the only one that laughed when I read that? Like overhearing a gay pick-up line.

I'm not thrillied with the glovebox size. Barely holds the owners manual.

it doesn't hold the manual as far as im concerned, which is why my manual is in a drawer in my apartment. I wish i could afford the euro dash.

I really like mine.. The shelf is perfect for sunglasses and wallet. The manual holder under the steering column frees up the glovebox for smaller items. Now I hardly ever open my glovebox.. usually carry my VAG-COM cable and cell phone charger in there. Best $200 mod.

stilljester on the AWTT forum import and sells them. He usually has black on hand, the other colors are available most of the time as well.
