GodSpeed FMIC
How quality are the godspeed FMIC. Will it lose power or psi on a 225 with a revo tune? Any ideas? I know it is cheap, I just want to know how cheap?

Never heard of it. Where's Nathan?

RE: GodSpeed FMIC
They are one of the better ebay cores, id use it for a stock turbo and a little more. Put it this way, they are on the same playing feild as the tCarbon IC.

RE: GodSpeed FMIC
OK good. I was wondering. I new it wasn't the same quality as forge or APR but I figured I would check. Hey FMIC under a $100 isn't bad. Now I have to find some IC piping.

RE: GodSpeed FMIC
I wonder how many tCarbon people are going to start hating on me for my comment.

What do the more expensivecores look like such as the Forge or APR?

RE: GodSpeed FMIC
Here you go, best to worse.
greddy type 28 core http://home.comcast.net/~jedi801/ic_02.gif almost garrett http://www.are.com.au/feat/techtalk/tti1001n.JPG ok better http://www.are.com.au/feat/techtalk/tti1001m.JPG ebayish and tube and fin design http://www.are.com.au/feat/techtalk/tti1001r.JPG http://www.are.com.au/feat/techtalk/tti1001q.JPG |
RE: GodSpeed FMIC
That greddy type 28 looks massive!! Would those even fit on our cars?
|
RE: GodSpeed FMIC
That is the larger core for the gti/jetta and im betting it could fit 180 with minimum effort. That kit would outperform a tCarbon like kit in anything with either gt28rs or gt2871 and larger.
