RE: good turbo venders

You could move it further down, but by making the psi 7 or 15psi, your not going to want to change it. You can then use a mbc/ebc to change the boost. The 14 or 15psi spring will just keep the wastegate from opening a tiny bit longer for a little better spool, but not all that major on a small turbo, bigger turbo maybe. Think all come with a 7psi spring installed. Its not really going to be an issue since the stock turbo runs off a 5psi spring and as you can see you can run 20+psi w/o problems

but if the spring makes that little change then i might as well go internal and save the headache of fitment
im hoping it wont be way too tight there.

RE: good turbo venders
What does limp have to do with anything? Like i said before, if you think you will ever upgrade, the external is the way to go. Also fitment isnt going to be a problem since there are plenty other people already running this style setup. The wastegate should be somewhat easy to access from under the car to where you can remove it by itself or with removing part of the exhaust.

RE: good turbo venders
fitment is my only concern, and by limp i didnt realize you were talkin bout the turbo system producing 20psi rather than the chip allowing that boost, cuz my chip wont allow it and throws me into limp right away... unless i have diode as well.

RE: good turbo venders
I can get 93 from just about anywhere in Ohio and some places sell 92 and one place sells 94 and sometimes 100 octane. Places with more pollution controls like cali you can only get 91.

RE: good turbo venders
yea i can get 100 oct here in ont. and also 104 or 110 but i think the 110 or w/e is leaded gas. and the 104 is unleaded. But, its expensive as a motha motha, also i have to drive an hour to get it lmao !

RE: good turbo venders
If i swap in the AWP ecu, i can run E85 due to the wideband. But i would have to run a mix unless i get more injector since it takes about 40% more fuel to make it stoich. But it is about 110octane and around $2 a gallon
