You can get it flashed over or buy a new ecu with it on it, thats up to you.

 

ok got an answer from him,.... he doesnt want to touch the giac chipped... that just hampers my plans... sourcing another ECU will not be an easy or cheap task... i might as well then just get a custom tune here will cost me close to what he is asking for a 440 CC file.

 

he can send you a ecu with the chip installed. Think a new ecu is around $250US

Yes, but if you can swap differnt ecu's if you get the other parts needed. Like going to a awp ecu, you and i will need to have a chip with the vvt disabled, one or two extra connectors and the correct primary o2 sensor.

 

Just found this on the eurodyne site. The tapp tune on a awp 1.8t and with a gt2871r with pagparts kit. Remember its fwd. 357whp and 340tq

thats pretty nice ... with good power up top. but i would much preffer to have a legend on the graph.. gets a little confusing with all the color codes and no legend.
