looks like i will be able to see it through the black hole once i remove the cap...i was wondring what those caps were for when i was wiring my sub/amp in the back ...

i thought it was really dub of audi/vw to make a cool looking piece that no1 will ever see lol !!

 

im alittle confused on this. Is there a turbo that directly replaces the k04 or do I put together some kind of kit on my own?

 

the only direct replacement is a eliminator turbo from ATP that lack the power and spool up of the reg gt turbos. You can get a kit made with w/e turbo you want from pagparts along with injectors and sw. He is the man to talk to when it comes to upgrades. His service and knowledge is imo better than anything you will get from apr.

 

i think apr is more on the Oem style of things, looks nice, great parts on paper, but detuned to sh8t

you can always go with euro KKK replacements, and get the accompanyign parts, or you can get a larger KKK compressor side and exhaust side slap in a t3 flange or t4 w/e.. but then again ... KKK turbos are expensive since they are not local.

GTs are nice but $$, if you want to splurge your $$ then go with journal bearings. not as current with tech, but then again its not like its a pro competition. its all in you application/budget

 

ok so its a pain in the @ss to get a fuel filter for this car around here. im not sure why... but dealer tells me i cant use a standard vw one cuz the fittings are different, no word if the 225 filters are diff or the pumps. dealer is lookign into the specs on the pump for 180s .

Just ordera filterfrom ecs then. They are 1/2 the cost, but your going to need to order other stuff to make it worth it.

 

i don't like orderign from ecs, they use UPS ... which is not worth it at all for me regardless. 80$ COD for a 15 $ order... thanks but no thanks. so nay $$ i save will just go back to UPS.

i hate UPS with a passion.
