Its a cheap part, believe ~$30. It can be done yourself if you just remove the intake manifold since its just under it. Most people have it changed when they do the TB.

If you pay someone, they will overcharge you for the part and then labor, should be around $400

oh sounds and looks easy! Thought I'd have to do 2 back flips and a hand stand to get to it.

Now if it is the thermostat.. Wounldnt. The car run a lil hotter?? Cuz its not hot or anything?

I read up on some other people posting with that code and the cluster wont move if the temp is 10-15* hotter or colder than normal operating temp

that code can be the thermo or the coolent sensor. If you have a black, you should change to the green. But finding out if you do have a new thermostat would be key. Not sure if it can be installed wrong and not leak fluid.

I haven't personally removed the intake manifold, but others have said it's a pain in the behind.

I don't know if anyone remembers me posting about how my car was running hotter than normally I got the same code on the liquid it turned out to be the sensor. I just changed it yesterday cars running alot better. Check also for any oil leaks if your down in there. I noticed I had to buy another valve cover gasket kit again since it was leaking once again. It's a hsit job.
