Besides, you only need to heel toe on downshifts.

 

lol, duh... did you hear at the end of the movie, when he was downshifting he let the cluch do all the work, not that its not up to it on a 600+ whp car, but still...

HPA did a complete engine changeover, they swapped the 1.8 for a twin turbo 3.2L V6.

I didn't notice the downshifts until you mentioned them, but I am sure the clutch/trans have been significantly upgraded anyway.

 

Pretty sure that started as the 250hp N/A version of the Mk. I TT, they then added twin turbos, and a crapload more. I remember on Audiworld at one point, he was getting frustrated because his car dropped a few hundred horse, and they couldn't figure out why. Turns out he had his programming in valet mode if I remember right. Valet mode, and still TWICE the power my TT has, go figure...

 

Nope, it was a 225 1.8T at one point. They went for a complete engine swap to a Eurospec 3.2 L. Some Valet mode... could still smoke the tires just not all the way up through 5th gear [8D]
