Also keep in mind with the mesh grill like that you will see all those nasty looking little slits to where the stocker snaps into. I have seen a few people grab this and be dissappointed.

I have to see it first. If it doesn't work out, then so be it. I will have paid a little to learn a lesson. If it's junk, I will do whatever I can to let everyone know. At $26 it's ok. I might be able to salvage it if it's not horrible. I would like to see the slots that you are talking about tho. Any pics of the disapointment?

If those slits are on the inner part of the bumper(behind the grill), I can fill them or hide them. I would like to see what the problem is tho.

I don't quite recall who it was but it looked pretty bad in the light and up close. They ended up ditching it. Your frill on your black car looks 100% better than that ceap "ricey" mesh IMO. I would keep that or save up for a few bones for a better grill like the caracter...thats what I sport.

we use mcnichols for perf steel for work. For what you're probably getting from ebay, you might have been just as well off building a grille from scratch. Keep us updated though.

To be honest, all I need is a template lol. I had already figured that the pieces would be sub-par. thats why I started to outsource materials. I figure I will probably use the frame from my existing grill, and get metal mesh from mcnichols. I know Im never gonna get the kind of quality I want unless I do it myself. yet more proof that we are the only people that give a **** about our cars"sigh".

Here is a close up pic Warranty. They are a little spendy but is the best looking mesh grill due to it's 3d design. Cost are 200-300 depending on where you go.

From first hand experience with this grille, I would advise to not use it. It is really flat and does not contour at all to the stock grille opening. It is not very well shaped and requires a LOT of work to fit decently. I struggled with mine for hours to make it look decent. In the end, I ended up buying a badgeless FK grille.

~Just my .02 though.
