RE: Group Buy Water/meth
Does anyone else have an air/fuel ratio gauge in their car? I got my car back up and running and put one in. When i get on it and it starts injecting my A/F goes from 14.3ish to 10.5-11! Thats really lean!!!!

have you posted you question on Devil's forum? I haven't measured my a/f ration, but would not be surprised to see the readings to appear lean. Afterall, you are replacing some of the gasoline with methanol and water. But, I don't think that means your are actually running destructively lean.

Actually, that's rich (10 to 11 parts air to one part fuel vs. 14.7 parts air to one part fuel)...I always have to think about that too (I still have to go through the lefty-loosey righty-tighty thing in my head too).

A/F target is based on the stoichiometric chemistry of the fuel being burned. It is QUITE possible (I am not certain, this is an assumption) that the stoichiometric mixture for METH is well off the mixture for gasoline, so a change is A/F should not be unexpected.
Confirmed, from Widipedia - a "perfect" mix for Gas is 14.7:1, for Methanol it is 6.4:1.
Fuel By weight By volume [1] Percent fuel by weight
Gasoline 14.7 : 1 - 6.8%
Natural Gas 17.2 : 1 9.7 : 1 5.8%
Propane (LP) 15.5 : 1 23.9 : 1 6.45%
Ethanol 9 : 1 - 11.1%
Methanol 6.4 : 1 - 15.6%
Hydrogen 34 : 1 2.39 : 1 2.9%
Diesel 14.6 : 1 - 6.8%
