Anyone know what the total cost would be of a GSRT or GS2871R after all hardware, adapters, tuning, and anything else you'll require to efficiently run this turbo?

and how about gains.... one claims 350... and one claims 400. Does that factor in an exhaust? or that turbo gains alone?... Are these compatible with the VTDA or would I need to change all that crap out too?

 

First off....GT2871R.

Turbo is rated for 400hp. With an awd setup with it bolted on and tuned for pump you would see 320-330whp. You can easily bring that higher with 100oct, intake manifold, water meth inj, and so on. Also if you go this route you will need new rods unless you get the .86 turbine.

Thats a good start in cost, you may incure more, not counting install if you need it.

 

Get a new engine too, cause by the time your done tuning it will probally be cooked. If you want 300+ hp get a new car

I believe I'm pushingclose toabout 300-305 FHP now with the stock K04. So yea, anyway.
I'm looking into options. I like the APR kit... but I plan on getting the FMIC sometime soon.
Just kind of curious if there are any other full package kits like the APR one... minus the FMIC since I'll already have that installed by then.

for future reference... I'm not a race car driver, nor do I want a race car... but I do enjoy learning and improving my car. If I wanted a HP/TQ Monster... I would buya skyline or Supra. they're a dime a dozen where I am. I see skylines on a regular basis here. I sawa 98 modelin great condition in Seoul a few weeks back with like 50,000 km on it for W10,000,000 (roughly $12,000) I like my car and don't want another car...

 

im doubting you have 300bhp. But look into the del rio power kit. It runs a 2871r also and is tuned by giac.
