Default GTT exhaust England

I saw where someone had done a muffler delete. I came accross GTTs website in the UK and they sell one just like it. Well it's off to my muffler guy Monday and delete the muffler. Also, cuts 26lbs. And a better sound too.

This is a repost from GT Tunings website in the UK.

GTT AUDI TT ‘SPORTLITE’ TWIN EXIT EXHAUST SYSTEM

Part No: BSP062
Product Description:
By completely eliminating the rear silencer, weight is dramatically reduced to under 9kg. The standard system weighing 21kg!
PERFORMANCE - By keeping the number of bends to a minimum, back pressure is considerably reduced. The engine requires no additional back pressure from the exhaust, the turbo and ‘cats’ already producing more than enough. Our system uses 1 x 70mm dia. tube into 2 x 60mm dia. tube with no restriction within the single silencer, and exits through 2 x 100mm dia. ‘slash cut’ highly polished stainless steel tailpipes. A genuine lightweight performance exhaust with a deep sporty note. The sound is not dissimilar to a modern TVR Albeit at half volume!

......For performance potential there is no better exhaust for the Audi TT.

Material/finish: n/a
Notes: Did you know - Less weight gives improved acceleration, better fuel consumption, shorter stopping distances and higher possible cornering speeds.

Price:£369.00 System

£369.00 converts to roughly $700 plus shipping to the US - another $70 to 100...

not bad all considering...

Would be even cheaper with two 4" tips and a local muffler shop. I changed a mid resonator out for a glass pack for a different sound. Didn't want the ricie buzz. My guy quoted around $100 for the staimless pipinr anf the welding. He has done all of my custom exhaust systems. I can get hi-flo cats from him for $85. I was shipping a lot out on theScion forum I was on.
