Default Haldex In 1.8 ??

My 2005 TT 1.8 with FWD is ready for the 55K service check at my Audi dealer. My understanding is that the Haldex clutch has to be addressed with changing the oil/filter. Is this only necessary with the quattro/AWD or all TT's. I do not use the tiptronic. Thanks in advance.

if your fwd you don't have the haldex electronic rear diff and do not need haldex service.

In case this comes up in a search sometime in the future, the service interval on the Haldex control (oil and filter change) is, or at least was, every 20,000 miles.

Previous owner of my car never bothered, I ended up replacing the haldex unit. Clutches were slipping.
