Hi i had a problem with the haldex system on my 2000 audi tt.
The rear differential was not working and my car was like a front wheel drive.
We took down the differential to discover that a motor for the oil of the differential was not working (it was full of oil). Therefore we cleaned it and managed to get it to work again. Now the rear differential works and the quattro system is fine but a different problem occured. When i turn the wheel at low speeds there is a noise like i am dragging the rear wheels. I have made some research to discover that is a common problem with the haldex. The first think that i will do is to check whether the oil that my mechanic used is the proper one and if the level is correct. Can someone advise at to the oil that i shall use? Thanks
