Default Haldex oil and filter change

Somebody please tell me about changing the Haldex oil and filter. Which oil to use, drain plug and filter location, etc. I've gotta get better about keeping up with the maintenance. Thanks.

Best thing to do is buy a kit of ECS or something like that. You have to buy a speical wrench to get the haldex plug off . Heres the link for the DYI http://www.audiworld.com/tech/misc35.shtml

I would stick to changing it every 20K as you already have the wrench so the filter and fluid is cheap. Good Luck

General location of where you'll be working...

Skip the cover removal, and a regular caulk gun will work to get the oil back in the haldex unit, I used a 6" length of silicone hose so I didn't need to jack the car high enough to fit the oil tube vertically under the car. Be ready with the drain plug on the hex wrench, its thin oil, and it'll come back out quick. I plugged the hole with my thumb while I got in position with the plug, and quickly swapped, so I didn't lose much oil.
