Hazy Headlights
My headlights have a good amount of haziness from road debris.
Does anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?
I’m not planning on buying replacement headlights,
especially because I’d be replacing, not upgrading.
I was thinking taillight tint(spray-on) would help cover
up the hazy look with a light coat, but not affect my light
output noticeably. Any thoughts?
I use a product called Plexus, its a plastic cleaner and polish in one, its worked really well so far. I also have the Meguiars stuff mentioned, there is a cleaner and a polish separately, and I have had good results on other cars with that. I dont really get why you would want to try to tint your headlights though, that sounds kinda weird to me.
The spray I've seen used on taillights lets light shine through (less light if you make it dark). I think one or two coats will make the lights look better, and not block a noticeable amount of light.
When my headlightsare on theylook like crap. I wanted to do something to make it lessobvious without replacing them.Plus the car is black, so it won't look out of place.

If its real bad, some have sanded the lenses w/ 1500grit, and then polished w/ plastic polish.
Check 3M, I'm pretty sure you can get a clear stone guard. Kinda like window tint, but clear, and for the fronts of cars.
