Default Headlight assembly brackets are broken!

I just discovered that the headlight assembly is just sitting there, because the two brackets holding it to the body are broken. The whole assembly has been moving around and scratching the paint of the front body panel (the rubber piece between the assembly and the body panel is missing). I just got this 2001 TT coupe from the dealer two weeks ago. The headlights are the xenon ones. I discovered this when I tried to replace a side market bulb.

Would you complain to the dealer which sold the car "as is" or would you just try to find a solution on your own? Is there a solution to this without having to replace the whole assembly?

Default RE: Headlight assembly brackets are broken!

I ordered a repair kit from the dealer. $32 with no guarantee.
