Default Headlight Clear Attempt

Home from work early this Wed and I think I'm going to attempt the clear corner mod on my extra (broken tab) headlight assembly. I think a trial run will help me when I go to actually do the headlights on my car.

Going to do the oven at 175 for 10mins. Using a wet towel underneath (cincy's hint so it doesn't burn on cookie sheet.)

I'll let you know how it turns out.

Why do I get the feeling Ryan is going to give smoked headlights a new meaning?

well just hope he has some cooking skills. But when you put them back together remove all the old silicon and put in some new clear silicon sealent. Then you wont get any leaks.

getting the lense off is a piece of cake.

not hard at all. wonder why some people complain about it being difficult. might be a PITA to remove all the old adhesive. i guess just keep heating up and pulling it out.
