Default Headlight Washer Stuck

Any ideas for problem solving the headlight washer not working? Appears to be stuck - won't come out. (2000 TT 1.8)

Thanks

First things first...

You have your headlights on when you're trying to use them right?

Because they don't work if the lights aren't on.

No way, you cant remove the aliens!!!!!!! I agree with achTTung. When I first got my car I couldnt get them to work and was all WTF!!!!? Then at of pure frustration read the manual. I comletely blasted my friend who was looking at them from the outside trying to help. It was pretty funny.

my TT is my only car, so it see's winters. Crappy, salty, sandy winters. Those aliens are more helpful then you think in these conditions.

That's the exact opposite of what I am dealing with. Mine won't go down quite all the way? They are just barely not down. Anyone know what that could be?

Might just be dirt and stuff around where they hinge. I've had that come up once in a while, and it seems to be cured by a trip to teh carwash, and some strategically placed shots with the pressure washer.
