Im looking at purchasing a 01 quattro tt 225, I know it has the bose, is there a way I can tell from the VIN whether it has the xenon and heated seats ? Guys asking just over 15K and said he include belt service (it has 68K on it) so seems decent. Thanks in advance

 

yeah...
call an audi dealer and provide the vin
ask them which headlight you need (lowbeam)
they will tell you either an H7 or HID
plus...the price will tell you (H7s are halogen=cheaper)

or
if you have photos of the interior
look at the dash for the HEATED SEAT buttons
they are 1st and last and have seats on them

for what i know....
the XENON package came with the HEATED SEATS....

my TT did NOT have HID/XENON but do now...
i got OEM projectors/ballasts/ignitors and did the swap
it took me a day to do and i am doing a write up
so it CAN be done and its OEM for cheaper than buying NEW HEADLIGHTS

hmmm, I have NEVER seen a TT without HIDs!

 

X = included in the package so I guess they all have HIDS

If I'm not mistaken - the 99/00 model didn't come standard - it was an option on the 01/02 - and the 03 on it was OEM... but I could be wrong on the years...

 

i only pulled data on 2002....
but when i looked up 2006, there was NO OPTION
