Default help

i just got a new turbo inlet pipe and am trying to install but i hit a snag, on the old inlet pipe there is a tube connected to it just after the maf sensor but on the new pipe there is no spot for it. anyone know what it is? its the very first tube connected to the inlet pipe closest to the maf sensor. can i just put a T connector with it to another tube or can i just block it off an leave it disconnected? i tried to add a pic to show the tube but it wont let me.
