Help!! Car won't start!
Ok, so my car isn't wanting to start now. I know its not the battery or the alternator. The battery has a full charge. When i go to start the car it doesn't do anything, no click click, no light flicker, nothing. Im thinking its the sensor on the clutch pedal, im not sure what its called though. If you guys have any input it would be much appreciated.

RE: Help!! Car won't start!
Check fuses.
There are a couple in that little box that sits on top of the battery, and if they look good, move to the fuse box in the side of the dash, but if you're getting absolutely nothing, it sounds like it'd have to be one of the big fuses on the battery. Also check your terminals, make sure they're clean and the leads are snug. |

Thanks fuses looked good and its still not starting. This one really has me baffled.

RE: Help!! Car won't start!
Just to make sure I've got this straight, you're saying you have NO power to start the car, but you still have dome light/radio/etc?
When I first read your post I thought you were saying no power meant no anything. Going back to your thoughts about the switches on the pedals, there is a chance they get dirt in them, and don't work properly. You might wanna try blowing them out with some compressed air or removing them and inspect/clean them to be sure the plunger moves in its full range. |
RE: Help!! Car won't start!
Ya i have power, dome lights, radio, everything exept nothing happens when i turn the key.

RE: Help!! Car won't start!
My cable to the starter was erroding when i had my engine work done. I had to replace it with a new one.

RE: Help!! Car won't start!
Check the voltage across the battery terminals when nothing is on. These cars need at least 12.5V to work. Anything less and things don't work correctly, including starting. You may still have lights and radio with less than 12.5, but the ECU and Cluster need 12.5 or better.
