HELP! Clutch won't disengage Audi TT quattro
Okay, so I have a 2002 Audi TT Quattro with 109,000 miles on it.
This morning while I was driving I went to shift and suddenly my clutch peddle had only enough pressure to come back up but it feels like there's nothing pushing back behind it and it won't go into gear at all.
I pulled over to see if I can push it into gear to at least make it to a parking lot and after about 5 minutes of trying I decided to try and start it while in gear. Well without pressing the clutch at all I turned the key and the car started jerking forward while trying to turn over. After about 2 seconds of that the car had enough speed to get into gear and I could shift without pressing the clutch at all. I was wondering what are your thoughts with what's wrong. I've had a lot of answers like "the clutch is completely shot", "the master cylinder is shot", and the "Slave cylinder is shot" but before I start tearing apart my car to find it I was hoping someone had the same experience and could give me some helpful tips on what to look for to find the source of the problem.
