Default Help Electrical Problem

I had this problem once or twice a long time ago and it just went away now it wont.....

Headlights, Fog lights, High beams, Heater Blower, Horn, Haldex, Turn Signals , Wipers don't work. Flashing High beams, Hazards, Parking Lights work.

I have no idea how these things are all related but they stopped working all together.

What I did as a temporary fix, I connected a wire from the fog light fuse to cig lighter fuse and that made everything work again. But I don't want to run the car with a ghetto fix because it might burn something.

Is there a relay, switch, ground, etc that I should look at?

I am looking through the Bentley wiring diagrams but I cannot find anything relevant.

Any help would be appreciated.

Check the grounds. Ground on the battery, ground by the fuese. Sounds like one of them came off, since so many things don't work, yet do work on a different circuit. Grounds near the headlight/horn/turnsignals too! I would guess one is loose. Another ghetto fix would be to shake the car up a bit to "reattach" the ground. Drive over some rr tracks or something. I bet it would fix it.

It's not a relay or switch, because too many things are related. That would be one huge high current relay.

Default tinkered around

My grounds seemed to be fine so I tinkered around with the relays, I noticed that relay labled 53 would click with my ghetto fix so i took that one out and swapped it with another relay that was also labled 53 and everything works fine. So I guess the relay was bad.

What still stumps me is how everything else was effected.

Try a ground from the engine block to the chassis.....can use a jumper cable to test
