I took a look at the DV line, so do I splice the top line? It's about 2x the size of the FPR line.

I didn't want to slice into the DV hose because I don't have any spare tubing atm. I have however ordered the T-valve with a restrictor on one end and some extra small hose clamps...when I get them I will install and update.

I also noticed some oil on one of the DV inlet/outlet ends, is that bad? Maybe its a good time to invest in a oil catch can?

If you're still running your boost gauge Tee the way you have pictured, try reversing the Tee so that its a straight flow from the manifold to the FPR, and the Teed off part goes to the gauge. That configuration is exactly what came to mind when you said you were having issues.

Merry Christmas! I hope you guys all had a good one this year. I got the splitter with the restrictor in and attached the boost gauge hose to the restrcitor then spliced into the DV vacum. Problem is still there at 20psi...sigh =( I am really lost on what to do.

What should I do next to trouble shoot?

Guess we should of asked before, what DV are you using? If its stock, i could just by a weak diaphram and needs replaced. As for the oil, its from the breather system. A catch can will help greatly

its a Evolution Motorsports one,

One thing I noticed with the bootgauge spliced into the DV hose, the readings are at times have lag responses; it would not move then suddenly it would jump to display the correct boost level. Is that normal because of the DV?

That is because that vac line goes to the vac canister on the valve cover, the combie valve on the side of the head, and the n115 and n249 before that. It works best with the fpr since its just those 2 things attached to that nipple. But since its not the reason for your issues, you can move it back there if you like
